The Isle of Memories is the island setting of Kimi ga Shine Bangai-hen: Seizon Shima. It's a mysterious virtual island located in a tropical setting.
This island's "curse" is its ability to wipe away the memories of a person who's died from the remaining survivors. There are also various dangerous traps around with wood and crates occasionally washing ashore.
In regards to flora, the island has a rich forest that contains various strange berries that can either help or hinder a consumer and vibrantly colored poisonous mushrooms.
It is unknown if the island exists outside of the computer simulations. It was originally created by Rei,[1] but its usage has been overtaken by ASU-NARO. The project surrounding the island seems to be directed by someone who looks like Sara Chidouin.[2]
Inhabitants[]
The island is populated by enormous chickens and hostile dolls that occasionally attack anyone in sight.
Dolls[]
These dolls are all designed to follow a familial appearance. They're all humanoid with messy white hair, peach skin, and a muscular build. They all wear what looks like a wooden mask with a slit for the eyehole.
- The Weak Inhabitant is the slimmest of the three types on the island. His mask covers his whole face. He wears a wooden-looking chest plate armor, fingerless gray gloves, and a gray wrap around his waist. He carries a short staff.
- The Middling Inhabitant is obese with the same wooden-looking armor and fingerless gray gloves. He carries a primitive club.
- The Strong Inhabitant is extremely buff with taut muscles. He wears no visible clothing and carries a crude ax. Past Day 34, when there's no hope left to escape the island, a different variation of him appears, with blue skin and a blue wooden ax.
Chickens[]
By all appearances, the chickens seem like regular birds, just abnormally large and aggressive. They still lay eggs, and once killed, their meat is edible.
The birds are dangerous, and Jin once thought Touko had been killed by them when she was tempted into stealing their eggs despite his protest and warning.
On day 28, Tia Safalin is terrorized by one of these birds, and it's labeled "Man-Eating Bird." Killing it provides food for the participants.
